| Frequently asked questions
Q. How long does it take...?
A. As quickly as you wish, or arranged to coincide
with your next purchase, you just state the timescale required.
Q. How long does your offer stay open
for...?
A. Virtually as long as you wish, however, we do
reserve the right to review the offer should you wish to accept
after a period of time as there may have been a market change.
Clients often come back to us straight away or sometimes after
six months to a year.
Q. When do I have to move out...?
A. There is no pressure from us for you to move,
we fit in with you - synchronize a completion date if you
buy another property - or a quick deal if you are in a hurry.
Q. Do I need a solicitor...?
A. Yes, except in a very few cases when clients do
the conveyancing works themselves. Your solicitor will ensure
that all the legal works and transfer are carried out in a
proper manner.
Q. How much will a solicitor charge
me...?
A. Solicitors' costs vary slightly; as a guide on
a sale of a house at £100,000 you may expect their bill
to be about £500. A solicitor will be able to quote
their exact charge.
Q. Who has the deeds...?
A. Your
solicitor will require the Deeds in order to draw up a contract
- they will apply for these from their place of safekeeping
when you ask them to act for you.
Q. Are there any types of property that you do not
buy...?
A. We buy all types of residential properties, vacant,
tenanted and also land for redevelopment.
Q. Does it matter if the property is
in poor condition...?
A. We frequently buy properties which require updating
and are in need of general refurbishment.
